Japan has the highest percentage of senior citizens in the world with nearly 28% of its population being aged 65 or above. By 2040, that ratio is estimated to rise to a record-breaking 36%. Learn about:

  • The consequences of Japan’s hyper aging population, including a shortage of manpower giving care and social and economic challenges due to rising debt and social security obligations 
  • Technologies used in homes to provide physical assistance to care givers and the elderly and support the elderly in activities of daily living (ADL)
