Creating Aged Friendly Community Living in an Urban Environment

Creating Aged Friendly Community Living in an Urban Environment

With an ever increasing ageing population in Australia, it has become essential for stakeholders from across the sector to consider the development opportunities for retirement villages and aged care assets that are designed to meet the future needs of ageing Australians in urban areas.
This presentation from Australian Healhcare Week 2017 by Simon Schrapel Chief Executive, Uniting Communities explores Uniting Communities 18-level tower build in central Adelaide that combines independent living with supported and short-term accommodation above several floors of retail and community facilities.
