Eastern Health’s Great Digital Information (GDI) 2020 Strategy supports and enables the innovative use of ICT to transform healthcare. It comprises of 6 key elements with EMR and Patient and Client Management System (PCMS) as their two main initiatives that are transforming Eastern Health’s service delivery. The GDI 2020 Strategy identifies a future state of ICT that will provide an environment that:
(i) supports the delivery of integrated, patient-centric information;
(ii) promotessecurity and accessibility of information; and
(iii) allows continual improvement of the ICT environment.
